ABOUT TESSA

​

My background is in marketing and the arts, and before having children I worked for marketing consultancies and in-house at Tate Britain, Tate Modern and latterly at the V&A. I feel really fortunate to have been exposed over those years to a wide range of creative media and to have collaborated with a host of artistic and inspiring people.

As my career evolved, so too did my appreciation of style, contemporary arts, design and fashion, and in 2015, I decided to take the plunge and pursue my love of fashion full-time. I qualified with Distinction as a Personal Stylist from the London College of Style, the UK's leading Styling school, and set up Fig & Frost.

​

Since then, I've had the privilege to work with a huge range of clients with a wide variety of styling needs, combining high street and high end, vintage and current pieces to create unique looks that reflect who they are and how they want to present themselves.

​

My aim is to help my clients look and feel fantastic by making sure that they have a wardrobe full of beautiful clothes that they love wearing and don't have to spend time putting together. The thing I love most about my job is seeing how much confidence my clients gain from finding their own individual style. There's no better compliment than a client who's thrilled with the new looks we've put together and excited to go out and tackle their next challenge, looking and feeling the part.

I live with my husband and two daughters in West London and when I’m not working or doing the school run, I like visiting art galleries, browsing boutiques and pop-ups (preferably those showcasing independent, British brands) and dreaming of relaxing on a far-flung beach with a paperback.
